Lake Lavon is located just northeast of Dallas, near the city of Wylie, and offers excellent fishing for crappie, catfish, largemouth bass and white bass. The 21,400 acres reservoir has recieved numerous stockings of striped bass in recent years and an emerging fishery exists.
